I purchased the app Jane Austen Fan Kit for $0.99 and it was well worth it. The first thing upon opening the app was the quite of the day, which made me smile. I enjoyed trying to recall the context. On that same page is the option to post to , email, or read in context. With a finger swipe you can see the previous days quote. The only thing lacking is the ability to copy it from the app, else I would have quoted it here.
The app also has many of Austen's books should you care to do some reading. This is nice but even better is the movie reviews. Each week an Austen movie is suggested on the app with all the movie info as well as links to amazon, iTunes, and imdb.
One of my favorite parts of the app however is the quiz section. Think you know Austen? Well find out for sure! At the end of the short quiz you get rated by the Bennet girls the least amount of correct answers making you Lydia Bennet and the most making you Elizabeth Bennet.
